In February 2026, the Boulanger Trio will celebrate 20 years together – with the same lineup since its founding. This rare continuity has given rise to a distinctive ensemble sound, supported by a deep musical understanding and a familiarity between the three musicians that has grown over many years. They are dedicating their anniversary program to the sisters Nadia and Lili Boulanger, whose musical legacy has shaped and inspired the trio from the very beginning. With works by Gabriel Fauré, the most influential teacher of the two sisters, and Maurice Ravel, a close friend of the family, a multifaceted panorama of the Parisian music world of the early 20th century emerges. The program is complemented by ´Vitebsk´ by Aaron Copland, one of Nadia Boulanger´s close early students, and Lili Boulanger´s touching ´Deux Pièces´.
Afterwards, the musicians invite you to round off the evening with cheese and wine.
